Meridian West Central College and its related companies or affiliates ("Meridian West Central College" or "we") greatly respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website. Meridian College Information Policy:
We do not provide or sell any collected personal information to any third-party company or entity. Personal information is only used by Meridian West Central College when required to fullfill a request for information, services or products, or where it is required by law. For example if a School Applicant submits their Social Security number we may be required to provide that information to Social Security to verify the applicant’s participation in the Social Security "Ticket to Work" program or to notify Social Security of their educational progress.
E-Mail Communications:
We may use the information that we collect to send you e-mail communications when responding to a request for information, services or products, information about your student account or changes to the website.
Mobile Communications:
With your consent, we may use your mobile telephone number to send you responses to inquiries for information or services.
Student Accounts:
Students may edit their account information after enrolling in the college. By Law, student records must be maintained for a minimum of at least 20 years. This is necessary to provide students and alumni with their transcript when requested. In the event of abuse of website services by a student they may be banned from accessing their student account and related student services. They may still order their official transcripts from the school when banned from using online services.
Request Fulfillment:
We may use the information that we collect from you to fulfill your requests such as when a prospective student requests information or a student requests an official transcript.
Advertising:
We do not display advertisements on our Web Pages other than to promote Meridian West Central College. We will never display any advertising from a 3rd party company or advertising hosted on a 3rd party domain by an Advertising Provider.
Statistical Analysis:
In order to learn more about how our website is used, we may use the data that we collect to monitor use of the website to increase the website’s functionality, and to better tailor our content and design to suit our student and visitors’ needs.
